Today doesn't feel like the usual Monday I know. Monday that is always start with sharing session and back to back update meetings. It's because I didn't go to the office today :D. I had to go to Jib school in the afternoon which is already on the side of where I live, so in the name of efficiency I decided to work from home in the morning. I like working from home because I usually get more things done. There's no distraction at all when the kids are in school and I have more time to work because I don't have to go through traffic, get ready or even take a shower.

I remember when I was still in college whenever I browsed magazines, especially business magazines, my favorite section was the short profile about any accomplished public figures. I vowed to myself that one day I will be featured in magazines, acknowledging my accomplishment. In my mind at that time, being featured in magazine is a sign that I have made it. That I have done something worth noticing.

Ever since I started Female Daily in 2015, I get featured quite a lot, Alhamdulillah. In magazines, newspapers, tabloid, radio even TV.  I have to appreciate and thank my media friends who have played a big part in bringing Female Daily out there. Can't never thank them enough. I remember my first media feature was VOA that they air through a local radio. My first magazine feature was by Femina Magazine. I remember I was around 4 months pregnant at that time and still live in St. Louis. Oki took the picture of me wearing a green corduroy blazer :).

One of the highlights from the trip to Amsterdam was visiting Anne Frank House. We visited on the last night before we left the next day. Arrived at 7PM, with no tickets in hand. And boy was it a wrong decision! If you are planning to visit the museum please please please, book your ticket in advance! The line itself can be two hours long. Museumnya kan kecil jadi memang nggak bisa akomodir banyak orang. Di antreannya itu udah ada tanda-tandanya, kalo berdiri di jarak sekian berarti antrenya kira-kira 1 jam lagi dan seterusnya.

Anyway, we arrived around 7pm which was still bright at that time. When we found out that the line was long, I checked the website right away to see if we can buy tickets online and cut the line. Turned out, udah sold out doong yang hari itu. Bahkan yang untuk besoknya juga udah sold out. So we had no choice but to wait in line. Harusnya jam 9 udah bisa masuk dan museumnya tutup jam 10. Tapi kan sayang yaa, last night in Amsterdam and we spent it waiting in line. Akhirnya diputuskan untuk pergi aja lahh, nggak jodoh kayanya...
