I went to Malang last week from Thursday to Sunday, and I just realized that..

• It was the first time I step foot in Terminal 1! It explains to two things: I don't travel enough and when I do I never take other airline except Garuda for domestic travel. I actually like Terminal 1 and it's semi open air concept, it gives a holiday mood as soon as you get closer to the gate.
• It was obviously the first time I took Citilink. I have no complain, really! Both flight leave on time, check in process was efficient and the staff was nice. I will definitely fly with Citilink again. 

• It was the first time I went out of town with the kids without Oki. I did that one time with Jib back in 2005 when I went to NY to see my dad, but that's about it. Everytime we saw something interesting the kids will say something 'We should show this to Diddy, we need to come back here with Diddy' and things like that. 
• It was the first time I went to Malang! I've been meaning to go there for more than a year already but we never really plan it seriously. An invitation from AIESEC Brawijaya University came for me to share my story there so I didn't pass on the opportunity. We took a flight to Surabaya as the flight to Malang was fully booked. Next time I go there again, I'll just go straight to Malang. Didn't really explore Malang except for the famous Bakso President and Brawijaya University, we spent our time in Batu instead. That small town is lovely, I wanna go back there again as there's so many sightseeing places that we haven't visited. 
• It was the first time I went to Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport, oh how I wish all flight just go in and out from that airport. It's less than 30 minutes to my house!
• What else? Ohh It was also the first time I went to Surabaya :D, see I told you I need to travel more. I might have visited the city when I was little, but that doesn't count because I don't remember it at all. I'm not sure if this one can be counted as well because I didn't go anywhere except to have lunch at our family's house in Kota Satelit before heading to the airport. And to get a cup of Monopole Coffee Lab (recommended) that happened to be a few minutes away from my aunt's house.
